This is old news and an old article, but, look at his bike, especially the cranks, he's not using the small chainring!! Amazing, how does the dude climb?
The Olympic gold medalist's bike. (oh, the silver guy also rides this.)
What do you guys think? this a beautiful bike? To me, um.. I actually think that it looks er... um... a bit ugly. I guess it's just one's own perspective and your own riding preference. Truth is, I've realized that I'm not a such an XC fan after all, I'm not able to go riding uphill all the time, and whenever I do go for XC riding, I've realized that I always loved going for the jumps and the downhill part.. so, am I going to ride downhill style from now on? I'm not sure.. I guess time will tell what kind of riding style I'll like in the future. But for now, some fun riding is all I'm looking for, and that world champion bike up there, is just not something that looks fun to ride, in fact, it looks tough and grueling. But, this is just my 2 sen about this bike.
