This year its a lot tougher, with over 62km to cover and a totally different route altogether. Which explains why there is only me n patrick xplorer on this ride only. The rest of the gang has totally dropped off the biking scene. But participants for this years even actually upped compared to previous seasons.
As always, organizers for this event is top notch, 100+ drinks, mineral water, banana's and buns. Plenty of em which never runs out. Unlike the CFAL ride last week where there were no water and no food on first 2 feed points(unheard off).
Ride was okay, sun didnt show itself at all on the whole ride. And they made it all very punctual. 7am sharp start and all would arrive at 10+am.
